The Ujima Collective

During the magic of the ROOTS Conference, the sisters of the Ujima Tribe were so charged up and excited to put what they learned about advocacy into action! So we did.  The Ujima Collective is our Black girl advocacy group. This group's purpose is to educate and activate Black Girl activists.

Plenty of organizations and groups speak towards the cause and concern for Black girls but rarely make space for them at the table where decisions about what actions are taken on their behalf.

TRIBE is dedicated to creating that space for our girls by supplying them with resources and access to training. The Ujima Collective meets once a month for either a training, meeting or planned action.

email PROGRAMS@blackgirltribe.com to join the collective.
