TRIBE is a non-profit organization dedicated to the betterment of Black Girls.

We do this by advocating for change and increasing access to sustainable resources for Black Girls to not only survive Blackgirlhood, but to thrive in it!

While excelling and reaching great and new heights, statistics show that Black Girls and Women suffer from health disparities, lack of access to education, and political representation at a disproportionate rate to any other demographic- locally, nationally and globally. Our mission is to change that narrative and advance the Black Girl Tribe by providing experience, education, resources and the opportunity to live their best lives.

We believe that as TRIBE  succeeds in educating and empowering Black Girls to uplift and advocate for one another, those empowered Black Girls can go on to becoming champions for the world.

"It was time for Black Girls to have something for themselves; a moment, a place, a source of power  to call our own" said Ms. Gabbi, TRIBE's founder. After working for some of the country's leading Girls and Women's organizations she knew it was time to stop burying the issues of Black Girls within other movements and create our own. She gathered her dream team group of empowered women and on September 17th, 2018 TRIBE Inc. was founded in Washington, DC. Since its birth TRIBE has served over 4000 girls (and counting) with programs that are not only holistic, empowering and fun, but also free of cost. We work diligently to make sure there are no barriers between our initiatives and our tribe because Black Girls deserve the world, and that's the TRIBE way!

We welcome ALL PEOPLE to join our Village no matter your ethnicity, age, gender expression.

If you support, love and affirm Black Girls, you are already a part of our Village.
